I have found a new best friend this month 'Freecycle' so far I have got myself a Shed and loads of pallets to begin building some beds and a compost bin. I also got 3 compost bins and a water butt which are all now in place, however the water buttt has some holes in it which I need to plug first.
I have erected the shed this month got the plastic composters in place and actually dug my first planting area which was more exciting than it should have been.
Anyway hoping to sort out some of the pallets this weekend and make a larger composter to dump all the old lavender plants in, hoping that they will rot down (as I was reliably informed by a fellow allotment owner that they will)
Lets hope the rain they promise will not turn up this weekend so I can do some more preparation work.

Planted some seeds on Saturday with Mason and Karen. Mason seemed to really enjoy this so hopefully he will be able to come and help plant them and watch them grow.
So the rain pretty much held off and I got up the allotment on Saturday Afternoon and it was dead, did not see another person the whole time I was there.
Managed to dig another bed and get the canes up (well most of them) for the beans.
Up again on Sunday and built a bed and attempted to level it which is coming along nicely.
